The first thing I would check is that the machine which won't print is capturing printers to LPT ports (Paradox won't work with capturing printers using unc). If it is capturing to LPT ports, then I would try any of the following:
Make sure there's a default printer set up (if not, set one default and try again; if so, try the next steps)
Remove all printer drivers and reinstall drivers (make sure printers are captured to LPT ports).
Try older printer drivers (apparently some HP drivers cause problems, though we have HP LaserJet 4V/MV PostScript, HP LaserJet 8000 Series PS and HP LaserJet 5Si which all work fine - note, printing works far better using the PostScript.drivers than not)
Remove Paradox, remove all printer drivers, reinstall printer drivers, make sure printers are captured to LPT ports, set a default printer, reinstall Paradox.
Reformat the hard drive and start from scratch ;->
I've seen this in my office, and have been able to solve it on all but one NT machine using a combination of the steps above(we had to revert to the last option - reformat the hdd - for that one machine).

Here is a printing problem that I found with Paradox 8
Environment:
Windows 95 OSR2/OSR2.1
Novell Netware Client 32 v2.20
servers are running Netware 4.11 with Service Pack 4 installed.
The printer que location that the printers are set to that I tested with was
\\CME\.Broadcase 5SI.Mac Users.MPLS.CME
The printer was a HP5 SI but I tested with a lot of HP drivers down to an HP III
I always got a "Could not initialize Printer" error. Paradox 7 would GPV. Other printer que locations had similar problems.
I could get around this if I attached an LPT port to the printer que location and disabled the "Check Port state before Printing" option.

The limit will depend on the amount of free memory on your computer. The limit is approximately between 40 and 100.
My comment: Limit mentioned should be related to the amount of RAM available on PCs in 1996-1997
