Deanna's Story

My name is Deanna Keehn, I am 39 years old. I was not "officially" diagnosed with Stargardt's disease until 1998 and have been told there is no "conventional" cure or anything to slow the progression of deterioration. However, I am a firm believer in holistic and alterative therapy. I was introduced to a product called "Tahitian Noni Juice" by a friend, Susan Girard, in Canada. Update - May 2004
I attended the East West Medical Center in Ft Worh, Texas for a study. It consisted of accupressure treatments, 3 a day for 5 days. After the 5th treatment I had better color definition and more depth perception. By the end of the week of treatments I was reading a smaller font than I was used to. Most recently I can see the buds of spring in the tress and I can actually distinguish between red and orange and black and blue. I am a firm believer in natural and holistic medicine.
