Almost a true picture of Paulina!

Paulina

England - Born in England (née Paulina Antosiewicz) some 40+ years ago. Attended Brudenell C.S. School for Girls in Amersham and then on to Dr. Challoner's High School to do A-levels. Due to the onset of Stargardts Disease (eye disease), plans to become a teacher were ditched. London became home and various secretarial jobs there filled her days.

Travel begins - Thanks to cheap flights offered by Freddie Laker, she travelled to USA visiting relatives in San Francisco and Los Angeles and then taking a Greyhound bus across the States to visit other friends in New York. Life on the other side of the Atlantic appealed!

Canada - Moved to Vancouver, Canada in 1980 to work as a mother's help for one year - and ended up living there for 10 years and becoming a Canadian Citizen!

More travel - In October '83 the backpack was loaded and 10 months of travel via Hawaii, Fiji, New Zealand, Australia, Tahiti and the Cook Islands began. An amazing life experience and the beginning of many friendships.

Skiing - In March '89, met Bertil when both were competing at a Cross Country Skiing World Championship in Kimberley, B.C. Canada.

Love - Bertil visited in the summer of '89 and love blossomed! Bertil and Paulina were married December '89!

Sweden - Moved to Sweden in 1990 and tried to learn the language and then gave birth to Jessica and Björn.

Canada and back to Sweden - Moved with the whole family back to Vancouver 1993 and returned to Sweden in 1995. Currently unemployed but last worked as a web developer and being Mum the rest of the time!
