NBA Finals Review 2006
I like Dirk, but he really struggled... and you can't argue with Wade's numbers. I agree with Hutch, the guys that came to Miami to get on Shaq and Wade's coat tails should feel pretty good about what they did in this series. Zo dominated yesterday, Walker's been the second option throughout, and what about GP... two HUGE shots in this series... Stuey's got to be feeling him even after a few years and teams.
Statistically this series was dead even and may really have come down to one thing... Jerry Stackhouse missing game 5 and Terry, Dirk and Howard having to play 50 minutes each (Stackhouse averaged 30 minutes in the other games). Granted Terry and Howard went off in game 5, they both struggled in game 6. It's not crazy to think that 30 minutes of Stack may have made up for one point in game 5 or the effect on the others may have made up 3 points in game 6...

You think Isaih Thomas is as stupid as he's acting... Stern's telling him to add some drama in NY in order to set up the draft of Greg Oden...a la Pat Ewing 20 years ago... just watch.

"Larry Bird is still considered the definitive 3-point assassin, but in 1981-82 he made only 11 3-pointers the entire season. It's now wholly plausible that Shawn Marion could make 11 3-pointers over the course of this playoff series, even though his jump shot resembles a jackrabbit heaving a pumpkin out of a manhole. " - some other source, I can only wish I was that witty.
