Speed camera detector is a device helping you get more alert when closing in to a speed camera. This website describes how the device is functioning. The detector has a display normally showing the current position and time. When the device detects that your vehicle is within ~500m from a camera it automatically switches to warning mode, blinking a warning text and the speed limit. The unit can hold up to 1600 camera positions in its memory and you can easilly update the database with new data. I do not support speed driving in any way. I do however need an extra reminder when I'm driving at night, that's when this device gets really good. This is just a small hobby project.
