“
Bon Jovi Legend’s Love Is A Hooker ” screamed a headline this week in the UK’s
News Of The World. The paper reports that Bon Jovi
guitarist Richie Sambora is dating Yasmin
Mitri ( pictured with Sambora ), a “
£1,000-an-hour tart who peddles
cocaine. ” She told a reporter, “ I really like sex. I'm Brazilian - of course I
like sex. ” She was also quoted as saying, “ I like coke. I started doing it five
months ago. It's £50 a gram. You have to order two grams. If you order some
now, it'll be 20 minutes. ” To get the scoop, a reporter for the paper booked her
services through an escort agency that charges £1,000 an hour ( or £5,000 for the
whole night ).
After she showed up, she poured the reporter a glass of
wine, sat next to him and began name dropping. “ My boyfriend is a famous
musician, ” she said. “ Do you know Bon Jovi band?
Richie Sambora. I've been with him for over a year and a half.
He lives in LA but we speak to each other all the time and he sends me
presents. ” After counting out the reporter’s money, says the paper, she began to
take off her clothes and the reporter then excused himself. On his way out, he
noted a hand-written card from Richie on a basket of scented candles which read,
“ Yasmin, you're the best. ”

Lou Reed, legendary singer and ex-Velvet Underground
frontman, elaborated on his recent collaboration and upcoming album with
Metallica. Reed told New York Magazine the songs he
worked on with Metallica had their roots in a theatrical production called
Lulu, a femme fatale character whose stories were written by German
author Frank Wedekind.
When asked if he’d stage the
production here, he replied, “ I don't think Metallica wants to be a band on
Broadway! They're metalheads. They're not going to do that. But the
version of the Lulu music I did with Metallica is awe inspiring. It's maybe the
best thing done by anyone, ever. It could create another planetary system. I'm
not joking, and I'm not being egotistical. ” Reed’s songs with Metallica center
on Lulu and the people who love her…right up till she meets Jack the
Ripper! Look for the album to be out this fall.
That’s the cryptic message on David Lee Roth’s website www.davidleeroth.com. Could it be related to DLR’s new studio
album with Van Halen…the first from the band (
with David ) in 27
years? Is a new single perhaps on the way? The album is expected out this fall
with a tour to follow, but nothing has officially been announced. Something’s
definitely brewing in the VH camp!
Sebastian Bach is getting tested for rabies! The ex-Skid
Row singer has been ordered by a court to get the test following his
arrest last November at a pub in his hometown of Peterborough, Ontario. Bach was
charged with assault and accused of biting bar owner Jim Kakouros, along with
with possession of 2 grams of marijuana and mischief. “ Right now, where that
court case stands in Peterborough, it's over and done with, ” Bach told
Noisecreep. “
I just have to go to the doctors and get a clean bill of
health because the guy that I bit wants to make sure that I don't have rabies.
There's my life. "

Motley Crue’s Tommy Lee took some time out from the band’s current tour
to talk to the St. Petersburg Times. When asked why he’s publicly stated that he
doesn’t want to continue to make full albums, he responded, “ No one really buys
records anymore. You can look at sales and do that math real quick.
Unfortunately, it's fast food in the music industry. People don't ingest full
records anymore. They buy song to song, something that blows their skirt up.
For you to sit there and rip your hair out and put six, eight months into making
a full record for someone to buy one song from, that is stupid. ” He added, “
I
don't think it's sad. I think it's actually cool. What it will do is force
people to make better songs at a time, instead of making an album with nine
shitty filler tracks and two good songs. I think it's nice. I think it's going
to be wonderful, to tell you the truth. ”
