To day I shall compose a
quartet for piccolo, tenor violin, violoncello and motor cycle. The latter
I consider being an undeservedly neglected instrument. The reason for
this is surely to be found in yesterdays composer's lacking interest for
this sonority box, and perhaps more than that - it's somewhat limited
musical range. To be honest: that many octaves can't be played on it,
after all. I have to admit that, but I don't think that's an acceptable
reason for discrimination! How many octaves is your range, you
