Chestnuts roasting...
(alt. title: "They're baaack")

It's that time again. At least that's what some people say. With five weeks left till the first Sunday of advent, two months to Christmas and not even past Halloween - among all the ad brochures in my mailbox today, there were two that had a Christmas theme. Albeit one of them disguised as a "winter theme". Yeah, cause little straw Santas tied with red yarn aint never reminded me of nothing but winter...

Yupp. You heard right. It's back again. Like it said it would. So those of you who feel your worst fears creeping up, those who already in February wake up screaming in terror after yet another nightmare where you can't escape the gigant ginger bread man, those of you who on December 26th hid your ornaments in the furthest and darkest corner of your closet and nailed it shut with a huge sigh - I tell you: Beware.

Myself, I can barely keep from reaching out about a meter and a half to my right and putting the Christmas records in the CD. But that's just me.

I just love being my own boss. I had felt a cold coming on, so yesterday I took a day off to nip it in the bud. Just like that. On a random Tuesday. It wasn't much of a free day, though. As I suffer fron the infamous "good girl"-syndrom I started the day with som vaccuum cleaning, went on to tidy up the apartment, clean our windows (hey - the world is actually in color!), make some phonecalls, wash and iron the laundry, go to the grocery store and make dinner before I went to my gym class. Jupp, that's a day off for me. But don't misunderstand me - I am not bitching about this, not one tiny bit. These things that I got done in one day is stuff that I used to do late at
