wrooom

A dream of mine was always to own my own Harley Davidson. I realised  my dream when I was in Canada in 1996/1997 when I bought a '71 XLH in the US. Later on I bought some more parts for the bike. The goal was to create a rigid-framed- sportster with a classic "bobber"-look just the way I drew my dream in 1996. In order to do so I had to get the bike registered in Sweden in original condition and then start reworking the bike.

The bike is now registered as a '71 XLH. The rebuild started (fall/winter 2003/2004) and is ongoing...

Right now the bike is on a stand still. It did not pass inspection, only minor things to take care of but I just got dead tired of it. Until I have found the spirit againg it will remain at the club. I have plans on buying a new bike so I have a 'rider' too. I'm thinking of a late Evo or early TC Softail och Night train.

This is what I started with...
