2007-01-22 / Jag har samlat på Victory böckerna i drygt ett år och lyckats skrapa ihop ca 290 st + ett hundratal dubletter (Banzaii på Tradera). Din sida är en stor inspirationskälla för mig och jag har även börjat samla på andra böcker du beskriver. Nu till saken, jag köpte ett större parti pockets häromdan och stötte på en dubbelpocket från Wennerbergs förlag nämligen nr 58. Den är tryckt 1964 och de båda omslagen är vända i förhållande till varandra. Ryggen är tvåfärgad i grönt och gult och titlarna är "Förstelöjtnanten" och "En spännande krigsskildring" Inuti står det "13 mustanger". På förstasidorna finns en ruta där det står "Två böcker" under detta har man klistrat på en prislapp så jag ser inte vad som står under. Vad är detta? Jag fick även ett gäng dubbelpocket bland andra dubbel nr 4 m vit rygg "Självmordspiloter" och "Tarawa" samt nr 21 m vit rygg " Tysta hjältar" och "Dödens drängar" Dessa saknas på din sida och jag skulle bli riktigt riktigt glad om du fyllde dessa luckor. - Det är NI som hjälper mig att fylla i våra register. Rent allmänt så låter det som att du snubblat över Dubbelvictoryböckerna, och de håller på att listas på den här sidan med hjälp av samlare. Trevligt att hemsidan inspirerar till samlande. MICKE

2006-10-06 / Hej. Jag är född -56 och slukade serier i min ungdom. Jag har fortfarande en liten kollektion av krigsserier kvar, främst Seriebiblioteket och Kommandoserien, av vilka jag tyckte den förstnämnda var absolut tyngst. Jag ska inventera dessa och ev. scanna in omslagen. De omslag ni visar på Victory-siten är alla i mycket gott skick, vilket förvånar mig. Är detta en privat kollektion? Jag skulle gärna komplettera Seriebiblioteket, men det verkar svårt att komma över idag. Markus Winqvist.

- Då jag öppnade den här hemsidan hade jag ingen scanner så jag plockade ursprungligen omslag från Tradera-auktioner på nätet. Sen köpte jag en scanner och kunde göra det jag ville. Det är inte alls svårt att bygga en rejäl samling om man satsar lite tid och pengar på Tradera. En annan väg är att slinka in på second hand butiker i tid och otid. Jag fick tag på det första numret av Victory för en krona en gång i tiden den vägen. MICKE

2006-10-05 / Hej! Kul att det finns en hemsida om Victory-böckerna. Jag har några från period 2 (inlagda, red). Jag är särskilt intresserad i böckerna om Peter Bentley och gamla och nya Wind Rode. Går det att få tag i dem? Hälsningar, Bosse Elb.

- Tack för din feedback. Jag brukar alltid hänvisa till Tradera, de har alltid Victory till salu. Ebay kan vara ett alternativ, då fler böcker finns utomlands.

2006-01-04 / Hello Mike. I have just come across your website and wanted to say how great it was to read the Commando interviews. I thought I would send you a bit of recent information about Commando comics which I have come across here in England. Firstly, a book has just been released by George Low, "Commando:The Dirty Dozen - The Best 12 Commando Books of All Time". Secondly, it seems that our biggest national magazine shop (W.H Smith) has started to stock Commando comics again. I have found copies of Commandos in several branches where I live (Leeds, Northern England). I can't say whether this is true for other branches, but I expect that most W.H. Smith shops carry similar magazines. I thought this information might be useful to you. Thanks again for a great website. Regards. James Fisher (UK).

- Hello James and thank you for your feedback. Yes, we´ve highlighted the Commandobook on this site and I think a fair amount of copies is going on import to Sweden as we speak! The news that W.H Smith is now selling Commando again is great news, it could mean quite a lot if it results in a higher profile and better sales for the title. Cheers. MIKE

2006-01-03 / Hello Mike,  I see you have a site dedicated to the Swedish Victory comics. And coincidentally I have recently started a Dutch website, with all the covers and some background information of all the Dutch Victoria comics, because you can hardly find any info about them on the internet. The site can be found on www.dotcomhost.nl. After this, I start with the Secret Agent comics (almost finished) , then the Vikcy (romance) then the Lasso (western). All the same format, so-called mini-strips. It would be nice to share some information, and perhaps exchange a few comics (Dutch to Swedish and vice versa). I am searching now for the origins of the Fleetway publications, and still haven't figured out how the comics were produced for the rest of Europe. Did Toutain;s Selleciones Illustrados produce them for all foreign languages? The Swedish & Portugese covers I saw don't differ that much. But both are a lot different from the english versions (most of the covers seem altered in one way or another). Anyway, it would be nice to hear from you. - Congratulations on a great site, a very nice addition to the ever expanding network of sites around the world that offers information on our favourite subject. I´ll start a cousin site to my Victory homepage in english in 2006 and I hope that we can all meet there and share information and thoughts. Your thoughts about the sources to these comics are shared by many fans and I´m one of them. I have a good feeling about this though, I think we can collectively get the history right eventually. There´s bound to be people out there that sits on information, even worked on these comics. MIKE
