Detta berömda feltryck tillkom 1879, när en skadad 20 öres kliché ersattes av en reservkliché för 30 öresvalören. Siffrorna "30" sågades ut och ersattes av mittpartiet från en 20 öres kliché. Av misstag byttes texten "Tretio" inte ut. Lägg märke till texten "TRETIO" direkt under siffran "20". 6.000 ark, med 100 frimärken på varje ark, hade tryckts och delvis distribuerats till postkontor när felet upptäcktes. 970 av 6.000 tryckta exemplar undkom postverkets kontroll! (Postmuseum).
This famous printing error was made in 1879, when a damaged 20 öre cliché was replaced by a reserve cliché for 30 öre value. The figures "30" sawn out and replaced by the middle part of a 20 öre cliché. Accidentally turned the phrase "Tretio/Thirty" not out. Note the text "TRETIO/THIRTY" directly under the number "20". 6000 sheets of 100 stamps on each sheet, had been printed and partly distributed to post offices when the error was detected. 970 of 6000 printed copies escaped Post Office's control!
