Ringtyp-emissionen finns i tre utgåvor med två olika perforeringar eller antalet tänder/taggar på en frimärkssida. Dessa frimärken gavs ut som porto i flera valörer.
1872 - 1876 gavs den första serien ut, och den kallas ”Ringtyp, perf
Mellan 1877 - 1891 hade märkena dock samma perforering (tandning 13). Efter 1885 trycktes även ett blått posthorn in på märkenas baksida. Av förklarliga skäl kan tidiga utgåvor vara stämplade något senare och överlappa nästa serie eftersom valörerna var samma men hade olika perforeringar, vilket inte alltid uppmärksammades och inte heller spelade någon roll för postgången.
Sedan mitten på 1990-talet har jag samlat på mig en större mängd olika, stämplade frimärksvalörer i de olika Ringtyputgåvorna. Det finns något abstrakt hos dessa frimärken som jag känner starkt för, dels upplever jag dem som den vackraste och mest intressanta utgåvan i svensk filateli och dels kan jag, genom att tyda och läsa olika stämplar, både på brev och på lösa frimärken, känna historiens vingslag.

Circletypestamps is available in three editions with two different perforations, or the number of teeth/tags on a stampside. These stamps were used as postage in several denominations.
1872 - 1876 was the first series, and it is called "Circletype, perf 14". 1877 - 1879 was the next series, and it is called "Circletype, perf 13". The third series is called "Circletype, blue post horn on the back" and was published from 1886 to 1891.
Between 1877 - 1891 had the same marks, however, perforation 13. After 1885, a blue post horn was printed on the back label. For understandable reasons, early releases can be stamped later and overlap with the next series because the denominations were the same but had different perforations, which was not always recognized nor played any role in the post.
Since the mid-1990s I have collected on me a greater variety, stamped denominations in the various circletype-editions. There is an abstract feeling of these stamps which I feel strongly for, and I think they are the most beautiful and most interesting issue in Swedish philately, and I can, to decipher and read the various stamps, both in letter and in resolving stamps, knowing the history wings.
All stamps on this homesite except a few items is included in my own collection, these objects have a parenthesis after the facts!
