2008-02-28 / Some of the interviews made for the Ladies Of Rock series on this site are now in print. This article with Carina Lirola is going out in may in SLICE (global edition) and it will be available here. This article was updated with new questions/answers in late february 2008, meaning the article is fresh. Three other interviews are already in print in Sweden. The covers to these publications can be seen on the Ladies Of Rock page.
2008-02-13 / The last year or so I have mainly added new interviews to the growing Ladies Of Rock series here on Atlantis Online, but today I decided to change the look of this site completely. I think it has a smarter look now and I needed to do this since I have now decided to print a first english edition of my fanzine SLICE this summer, which will be aimed at collectors. I have no idea how this is going to work out, but I will give it a shot.

2007-01-05 / I´ll present a number of interviews with female artists in rock and metal starting now in january 2007 and I hope that this will eventually be a nice collection of quotes and history. A little further down the line I´ll use stuff for my publications. This project means more frequent updates this year, which can´t be a bad thing.

2006-09-26 / Garry Sharpe-Young got in touch and asked permission to use some Black Sabbath photographs in his new book "Sabbath Bloody Sabbath-The Battle For Black Sabbath", which I helped him out with. I also provided photographs to Martin Popoff for his Sabbathbook "Doom Let Loose" and Jerry Bloom has used a few quotes from this site with permission and credit given (in most cases) in his new Ritchie Blackmore biography "Black Knight". Good books, if you like Sabbath & Blackmore you should seek them out.
2006-02-10 / This is feedback from "Medusa" regarding the LunarMile interview with Toni-Marie Iommi that we´ve added to the site; "What a treat!!! And isn't she great, a chip off the o'l block, a true "Iommi" coy, calm cool and collected all admirable traits. She will go far in the business, regardless of what name she chooses to use. She is clearly talented and knows what direction she is headed in... The fact that she is on a slow and steady path upward is also a plus. Best of luck to LunarMile. Good roots make for a strong "tree" she will continue to do great things. Iommi should be most proud. ThanX for the wonderful interview. Best regards. Medusa".
2005-08-11 / Added interview with David Coverdale from 2000 today, one of the better ones I think.
2005-08-09 / Added another interview with Joe Lynn Turner about Hughes Turner Project and 9/11 today.
2005-08-07 / Added two more Black Sabbath interviews to the site today, from 1987 & 1989.

2005-01-22 / I have noted that a couple of quotes from this site has found the way into this book. Quotes by Jon Lord and Michael Bradford. Would have been nice with a credit somewhere... But that´s OK, we´ve all been there.
2005-01-20 / The third issue of my annual magazine SLICE is out and some of the Commandostuff on this site has been used. We also got kind permission to use art by Ian Kennedy from the lads at Commandoheadquarters. This site has been updated again and now I think it looks fairly nice.
2004-08-12 / This site has been revamped completely today. Gone are the linkspages to Space, Women In Entertainment and the good old stuff that was originally the major part of this site. What remains is what you see, the interviews and the odd story. Added is a few interviews about war comics like Commando and Korkeajännitys. More interviews will be added. The reason for the change is that the interviews had clearly become the major draw to the site. Also, huge linkspages are tough to maintain. I hope that you can still enjoy the site in its current form.

2004-07-14 / Today I´ve added an interview with Nightwish and I´ve noted that several of the interviews are high up on Google if you search for the artists. Some of these interviews comes up on page 1 even. Nice.
2004-03-01 / A while back a japanese tv company got in touch in order to get through to my photographer mate Michael Johansson. In the end, they used some of his Joe Lynn Turner shots in a rock documentary over there. Good fun. SLICE 2004 is out. And on this site I have now added a tribute to classic british comics.
2003-11-08 / Today I put up the first two Black Sabbath interviews on the site, one that features Ian Gillan from 1983 and one with Tony Iommi from 1986. Lots of history.
2003-08-01 / Funky Deuce wrote, "I have immensely enjoyed your Atlantis Online web site, especially the reprints of old interviews that were done by you for Deep Purple Forever fanzine. They're absolutely priceless". Thank you for your kind words.
2003-04-21 / Well, the Jon Lord interviews are up and I have also added an interview with Steve Morse today.
2003-03-30 / The visiting rate to Atlantis Online is very good and 50 000 visits was noted today. Not bad in less than a year. Thank you, folks. I have some Jon Lord interviews coming up next, not sure exactly when I´ll get down to it though.

2002-12-14 / I´m taking it easy with Atlantis Online for the moment since I´m busy creating a magazine called Slice that is very time consuming. The first issue will be out in march here in Sweden and the content is Deep Purple, Nightwish, The Addams Family, 220 Volt, Xena, Star Trek, X-Files, Top 6 babes in showbiz, fantasy, comics, books. In a sense this is a cousin to the whole Atlantis Online thing. The homepage is right here.

2002-08-24 / Steve Morse, guitarist of Deep Purple, sent me a mail saying "Thanks for your help, man". I guess he may have read his 1998 interview and the "Second Coming of Deep Purple" story (deleted 2004-08-12, ed). I know that Steve thinks that the internet is a good way of promoting rock music. I also got feedback from ex-Rainbow singer Dougie White for the 1995 Rainbow interview that is up now. And Kimberly Goss of Sinergy stated that the interview with her was the best she ever did. Joe Lynn Turner has added the link to his interviews on his official homepage. All in all, a very good last few weeks for the site. And I´m quite surprised to see the visits rate, it´s much better than I hoped. I think the interviews is the major draw, but some people probably use Atlantis Online for some of the links pages as well. Thanks for your support.

2002-07-09 / Well, within a couple of days of the first inclusion of The Joe Lynn Turner Interviews at the Interviews section, Atlantis Online got hit with 1000 visits more than usual. I knew that it would boost visits and I was not mistaken. I simply put the first page with the first 4 interviews up and then I mentioned this to about 10 people around the world. The feedback was fantastic and the best link we got was from Melodic Rock (see "Rock"), a huge news site made in Australia. Other countries that linked us up includes Belgium, Russia and Japan. And the banner will eventually be included on the official homepage of Joe Lynn Turner as well (the site is currently under reconstruction). Since the interest has been so good I´ve sat down earlier than I planned and made the second part with another 4 interviews yesterday and today. The third will have to wait a bit. But as I said earlier, it seems obvious now that the interviews are going to be perhaps the strongest draw to the site.
2002-06-30 / Well, the ATLANTIS ONLINE site has been up and running now for a little while so I thought I would mention a few of the things that have happened so far. The very first quote that I got from a visitor was so fun that I knew I had to flaunt it, so this I shamelessly do on the top picture on this very page. Nice feedback to say the least and I think it was close to the truth although I never thought of it myself when I built this site. I have checked out how the search engine Google (which is by far the best in my book) do when I search for stuff I know is on this site and it would seem that the Interviews section is going to be the best draw. Good to know. I´m quite busy writing a Xenabook right now so I don´t have much time to update that section to much, but I will eventually. Rainbow, Dio, Sinergy and David Coverdale is stuff that I want to get up there next, when I have the time to do it. All in all it has been a good first period and I really do have a soft spot for this little baby of mine. Thanks for your time and interest folks.
All feedback to Mike Eriksson (don´t hesitate to write).
