This site went online 2002-04-29 and at that time it was a site with links to subjects like Space, Women, Television and so on (seen above is a smaller version of the image we used to greet visitors with initially). It was made for the pure fun of it. However, the growing Interviews section meant that the site was running out of allowed space and therefore it was decided in august 2004 to strip things down to the essentials. So what you get now is basically the interviews, some links to my other online activities, and a fanzine.
My name is Mike Eriksson and I used to write quite a lot for different publications. I still do, but more on a hobby basis these days. I also published a couple of magazines here in Sweden, DEEP PURPLE FOREVER and the Xena related LUCY IN THE SKY. These were replaced by a broader publication called SLICE in 2003, a magazine that actually came about because of this site. This is now published as an annual around february each year here in Sweden - and starting in 2008, I will test the waters with an english issue as well, just to see what happens.
This site will live on in its current form. It has certain benefits, I can surely use it as a reference when I ask for interviews these days, and it works just fine. So the good old days can still open up a few doors in the present.
