television and radio
howling dogs or babies
a lonely cry of a cat

Living close
but keeping the distance
of what; three, five inches
to solitude or community

I don't think you want
the burdon of meaning
anything to someone
even if it's good

a good neighbourhood

So why not go on like this
like people who like to live
