Photos of Swedish regimental colours from 1769 to 1819

Here are some photos of drawings stored at the Swedish War-archive (Krigsarkivet) collection no 0418. I have only taken photos of a small portion of the colours in the collection. They are to represent typical styles or some odd ones.

I have made my own drawings of the most of the colours found in the collection.

A warning: I have been informed that not all colours in the collection were actuary  issued to the units. I will try y to sort this out. Meanwhile enjoy the pictures...

Cavalry and dragoons had the regimental sign on the left side and the royal monogram on the right side.

Infantry had the regimental sign on both sides.
