Made it more comfortable for myself this year...
The mast was supported at three levels to carry the weight of the W3DZZ.
Not exactly straight, but straight enough!
Used a really minimalistic rig!
The ATS-3B.1 worked very well indeed.
2500 mAh lasted the whole 4-hour contest.
The antenna was a 80 meter slooping Delta Loop with the apex 16.5 meters over ground. The bottom of the antenna was only 1-2 meters over ground and fed directly with a coax. Seemed to work very well indeed!
