balfst2k Historic static aircraft scenery Fs2k Germany. For Berlin2k.zip sorry for my english This is absolutly not an advanced scenery with great frame rates and so on, i am sorry. I am not that skilled. It is an effort to make an historical fs2k add on for a period soon forgotten. The Berlin airlift achieved itīs purpose at May 12, 1949 when the blockade was ended. It had started at June 24, 1948. From may -49 Europe went into the post war and cold war era. Things went easier and the Marshall plan began to show results. This resulted in the growth of airline traffic in Europe. In this files you meet some aircrafts and airlines from round 1948-52 at German airports provided by great scenerymakers. I just had to add some Ju52 and some ju52:s where remaining and still flying in even commercial service (even some german ww2 Tante Ju could be found round Germany also included float vers.) at these times -shortly after ww2. The sas ju52 is Norwegian reg. The cold war must also be present and you will see some fighters and military transport aircrafts. The Berlin2k.zip have an english airport and there you find the last Lancasters in RAF. Lufthansa had to be in this scenery add-on, although they did really not started service this early. -I hope someone out there make an old Rhein-main scenery with more of the old houses left, however it is great!! that the Berlin airlift designer done what they done!!- I am sorry for the frame rates but at for.ex Tempelhof and Frankfurt it must be a lot of aircrafts to ceep the realism (Tempelhof with two aircrafts is no point). But I hope you still can enyoy this and fly around with Dc3:s and Stratocruisers and so on, and be sure to visit some historical sites at the net like http://members.aol.com/TGFltsim/ (Tom Gibson) and http://www.spiritoffreedom.org/ (Berlin airlift history), http://www.angelfire.com/pa4/billvons/bal/ where you find the Berlin2k, and of cource http://members.tripod.de/FS_EDDI/Hauptmenu.htm where you find and can FREE download Tempelhof fs2000. Eddi.zip. hope you have some fun with this ulf nordin nordinulf@hotmail.com
