So when refreshing the page, there can be a new view: The Main (pedestrian) Street, the City Park, the Cultural Centre, the Luleå River Bridge, the Cathedral or the southern harbor. The city of Luleå is situated in the county of Norrbotten, 140 km south of the Arctic Circle, where the Midnight Sun describes a complete circle over the horizon in the summertime with visible light the whole summer. On the summer solstice, the "night" is only 1,5 hours.
The Arctic Circle is on latitude 66,55° N and north of this line in Sweden you can see the midnight sun during the summers, from May 23rd to July 19th. The Arctic Circle is a popular tourist goal and passes through Alaska, Canada, Greenland, Norway, Sweden, Finland and Russia (Siberia).
