Natural competition...
Of course different kind of games and competition has existed as long as frisbee itself.

An early form of the team sport Guts was played in the 1950's, and there is evidence of golf like games being played with flying discs as early as in the 1930's!

Through the years different events and competitive games have been invented. Today official tournaments are held in six individual events and two regular team sports.

To measure who can throw furthest is a very obvious form of competition. Regina Olnils from the Swedish Club "BOGUS -Bollnäs Overall, Guts & Ultimate Society" won the Swedish national distance title in 1998 & 1999...

(To the "individual" flying disc sports, the pair events DDC and Freestyle is also categorized.)

In the "Overall" National and World Championships, a total title is also at stake. To get points for this, the player's place in all the individual events is added to create a total score for the combined overall Title.
