Same idea as "ball golf"...
Frisbee golf, or "Disc golf" which is the official name, is generally played on a 18-hole course, and the main idea is the
same as for "ball golf": From the tee get the disc into the basket (hole) in
as few throws as possible.
It is allowed to switch disc between each throw, just as
stick & ball golfers switch clubs between the strokes.
The experienced player use a wide variety of
discs and throws to achieve this goal.

course in Port Arthur, Texas, during the 1994
PDGA World Disc Golf Championships.
At age 14, Erik was the youngest ever to enter
the Open Division in the World Championships.

The hole, basket, is a metal creation, which by non-players often is mistaken for a food dispenser for the deers of the forest.

The chains stops the disc's forward momentum, and direct the golf disc down into the basket....
The length of a typical disc golf hole varies between 60 and 200 meters. Courses are usually built in existing environments,
park or forest areas, and do not need the excessive artificial landscaping of stick & ball golf, nor nearly as much money...

One of the fastest growing sports...
Disc golf is one of the fastest growing sports in the world (an estimated yearly growth of about 15%!), and for a reason.
It's cheap, easy to learn, playable by everyone (young and old, women as well as men) and most of all: it's great FUN!
