Exciting acrobatics with music and high tempo...
These fantastic people with their fantastic flying frisbees. Freestyle somewhat resembles Gymnastique Moderne, but a frisbee has much greater variety and possibilities than the balls and ribbons that are used in that sport.

This, plus the higher tempo, makes frisbee freestyle much more exciting to watch. You usually compete in either of two ways: Pairs, or three-player teams.

Some of the basic freestyle tricks apart from various trick catches and trick throws are:

-Nail delay
The frisbee disc is kept spinning on the edge of the nails. To reduce friction we often use silicone spray on the disc, as well as a set of fake nails.
-Tip
When you "bounce" the disc on the top of a finger, the knee or even the head.
-Air brush
When you "brush" the disc at an angle up against the wind and when the disc comes back you keep brushing.
-Body rolls
Let the disc roll over parts of ypour body. The most common is the chest roller where the disc rolls from one hand, down the arm, across the chest, up the other arm where it's finally caught.

By combining these, and many more, tricks together with choreography to the chosen music, the team performs a 3-5 minute program. This is then judged from different aspects like difficulty, presentation and artistic impression.
