WEBSITE REDESIGN Goals The redesign of the UBO website has these goals: improve navigation usability improve accessibility update the look and feel of the site. The previous site had been online for many years. You will notice a number of changes as you explore the new UBO website. But there are two primary changes you will see: the home page and the second-level pages. Good web design: Nothing importnant should be not more than two clics away The website should speak the users language The website should be consistent Users do not like to puzzle over how to do things. Users do not read the pages . They scan them. Here are the highlights: The second—level links are listed in the far left column. There are three groups of second-level links: Nyheter UBO informerer... Nyttig All groups has the same font size and colour. The English UBO webpage was updated. Speel checking Consistency checking Changing of font size and link color The Link Internt are moved in navigation bar. The name of this link was changed to Intranet HTML validation was made in W3C New links in each group News/Nyheter Newsletters.../UBO informerer... WEBSITE REDESIGN

Goals
The redesign of the UBO website has these goals:

improve navigation

usability

improve accessibility

update the look and feel of the site. The previous site had been online for many years.

You will notice a number of changes as you explore the new UBO website. But there are two primary changes you will see: the home page and the second-level pages.

Good web design:
