• Nils Peter Nord - the roots of a Swedish emigrant (great grandfather of Pamela Scott, editor of Little Enough News)
• Laura Klingspor - emigrated from Sweden when she was ten years old, along with her mother (ancestor of miniature food artists Marilyn Nielsen and Lisa McQuaid)
