1:48 scale mid-1930's rug

Needlepoint design and instructions by Anna-Carin Betzén, based on a full-scale rug by Swedish designer Märta Måås-Fjetterström

Years after I'd finished stitching the rug I saw some pics of other rugs of the same design, and realized that the rug I first saw had been attributed to the wrong designer - one who worked at the same atelier some 10 years later. I've corrected it now on this page! I also realized that the rug I based my original color choices on was faded, so now I've changed some of the colors in the pattern for a look that's closer to that of the original rug. I may have to stitch myself a new one someday! Until then, the thumbnail to the right gives an accurate image of what the rug pattern now looks like.

The pattern is in PDF format, and can be downloaded in two different versions: color or black and white. If your computer can't open PDF files you'll have to download and install the free viewer Adobe Acrobat® Reader so you can view and print it.
