This is a 16th century working woman's outfit, meant to be Tudor period, but mostly modelled on the Brueghel paintings as the best source available of lower class clothing in Northern Europe at this time. I finished it in time for the my shire's event in July 2004. Check out the dress diary for details about the construction and research.
